Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide repair, preventative maintenance, installation and other services to hospital utilities, structures, and non-medical equipment. You will handle diverse systems, read schematics, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical, lighting, plumbing, and climate control components, troubleshooting complex problems, and coordinating PM assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Trade courses or experience preferred.
• Ability to read schematic drawings for certain work.
• Welding or brazing preferred.
• Self-directed with ability to prioritize tasks.

• Perform duties as assigned.

To provide repair, preventative maintenance, installation and other miscellaneous services to hospital utlity, structure, and non-medical hospital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain various components and systems such as electric lighting, heating, cooling, casework, windows, doors and plumbing and kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot and analyze problems with Beds, and other systems such as sky-light TV and Trans-logic tube systems.
• Assist in training other personnel, practice safety, maintain tools and equipment as appropriate
• Coordinate repairs and furniture moves also manage PM’s assignments
• Answer service calls and input and complete work orders in the POM’s work order System.
• Perform duties as assigned

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Certification in HAZ Mat preferred, Required to wear respirator for ETO gas. Works, weekend shifts and holidays as required.
