Job summary

L&H Industrial in Sheridan, WY is seeking a Mechanic Tech II for day and night shifts. The role includes cleaning, teardown, inspection, and troubleshooting hydraulic cylinders and assemblies. You will write work scopes and use iPads to capture information for upload to company servers.

You will assemble and test components, move parts to designated areas, and train junior staff with minimal supervision. Candidates must be safety minded and a strong team player.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• 3 years’ experience in a mechanical environment.
• Safety oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to learn.
• Team player.
• Preferred: forklift training, overhead crane training, OSHA safety training.

Responsibilities

• Clean, teardown, inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders and assemblies.
• Write up work scopes for repairs and capture data with iPads.

Salary Range: $24.00 To $33.00 Hourly

Job description: The Mechanic Tech II is responsible to clean, teardown, inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders and associated assemblies. This person must then legibly and accurately write up work scopes for repairs as well as use I-Pads to capture information and upload to computer servers.. It is then this person’s responsibility to properly mark and distribute components to the designated areas. This person must be able to perform necessary assembly and testing of cylinders with little or no supervision. This person will train employees at the lower tech level. This person will work with minimal supervision. This individual must demonstrate a strong commitment to L&H values and safety processes.

Formal Requirements and Certifications of Job –

Required

• 18 years or older
