Job summary

ResourceMFG in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechanical Specialist to troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, and keep critical equipment running at peak performance.

You will inspect, disassemble, align, test, and rebuild machinery; perform precision machining and component modifications; read blueprints, measure with accuracy, and document inspections and repairs in detail. This is a hands-on role with a Monday–Friday schedule and a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and rebuild mechanical equipment and components
• Perform precision machining, fitting, fabrication, and component modifications
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine effective repair solutions
• Perform complete equipment disassembly, inspection, repair, alignment, reassembly, and testing
• Fabricate replacement parts and modify existing equipment when needed
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, measurements, and completed work
• Assist with equipment installation, alignment, commissioning, and startup activities
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, efficiency, and maintainability
• Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in a safe and organized condition

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
