Job summary

ResourceMFG is seeking a Mechanic I in Houston, TX to inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and repair mechanical systems. You will troubleshoot pumps, gearboxes, drive and hydraulic systems, and related equipment while disassembling and reassembling components.

The position requires reading maintenance manuals and following technical documentation, with hands-on use of tools and diagnostic equipment to verify repairs and performance.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical maintenance or repair experience, or equivalent technical training.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and repair practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues.

• Repair, replace, adjust, and lubricate mechanical components.

• Conduct operational testing to verify repairs and performance.

Mechanic I

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
• Repair, replace, adjust, and lubricate mechanical components
