Job summary

Denali Water Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable Mechanic for full-time work in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and facility systems, with emphasis on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hydraulic system experience.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience maintaining industrial equipment.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, corrective, warranty, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment and facility systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures before they occur.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and accurately document completed work.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to maximize reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, bearings, hydraulic systems, and rotating equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical equipment including motors, motor controls, switchgear, instrumentation, sensors, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot flow meters, transmitters, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and other industrial automation systems.
  • Assist Facility Management in diagnosing PLC software and process control issues.
  • Install, test, and commission new equipment following manufacturer recommendations and company safety procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Complete work orders according to priorities and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
  • Assist with general facility maintenance and housekeeping.

Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Mechanic to perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment, mobile equipment, and facility systems. This position is responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, possesses strong troubleshooting skills, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a high level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preventative & Corrective Maintenance
  • Perform preventative, predictive, corrective, warranty, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment and facility systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures before they occur.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and accurately document completed work.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to maximize reliability and reduce downtime.
Mechanical & Electrical Repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, bearings, hydraulic systems, and rotating equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical equipment including motors, motor controls, switchgear, instrumentation, sensors, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot flow meters, transmitters, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLC-controlled equipment, and other industrial automation systems.
  • Assist Facility Management in diagnosing PLC software and process control issues.
  • Install, test, and commission new equipment following manufacturer recommendations and company safety procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Facility Support
  • Complete work orders according to established priorities and maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Assist with general facility maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Support contractors performing maintenance or equipment installations.
  • Assist other departments as operational needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hydraulic system experience.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
