The Sherwin-Williams Company in Rockford, IL is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment across the plant. You will service dryers, chillers, HVAC, conveyors, pumps, tanks and related systems while upholding safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, quick repair of breakdowns, ordering parts, assisting with electrical tasks and keeping documentation up to date.
This position is an essential part of Sherwin's manufacturing team. It is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support production requirements and goals. Equipment may include dryers, chillers, thermal oxidizer, HVAC, fire pump, mixers, mills, filling line equipment, conveyors, wrappers, tanks, motors, pumps, tank washers, tank tipper, as well as dock and building maintenance, etc. This position performs various maintenance tasks as assigned and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Training may occur outside of the employee's assigned shift hours.
