The Davey Tree Expert Company in Gibsonia, PA is seeking a Mechanic to maintain and repair company equipment outdoors on site. You will service trucks, aerial lifts, chippers and other field gear, ensuring reliable operations for tree care projects.

Requirements include diesel and hydraulic repair experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid CDL license; company benefits and a strong employee-owned culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in truck mechanical repairs, diesel engines and hydraulics.
• Must complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving on hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid CDL driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep operations moving by ensuring equipment and vehicles never stop jobs.
• Inspect and repair office vehicles and equipment including CDL vehicles.
• Maintain bucket trucks, log trucks, chip trucks, pickups, aerial lifts.
• Service brush chippers, mobile equipment and small engine gear.
• Properly maintain and operate all tools and equipment, like chainsaws and chippers.
• Ensure readiness and safety of field maintenance vehicles.

Position Overview

Oversee the maintenance, functionality and repairs of company equipment, tools and materials by performing the following duties.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Keep us rolling to our jobs by making sure that nothing is going to stop us!

• Inspect and repair office vehicles and equipment including but not limited to:

• CDL Vehicles: Bucket Trucks, Log Trucks, Chip Trucks, etc.

• Pick-Up Trucks

• Aerial Lifts

• Brush Chippers

• Mobile Equipment

• Small Engine equipment

• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in truck mechanical repairs, diesel engines, and hydraulics

• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

• Required: Valid CDL driver’s license
