Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Mechanic Level 1 to perform basic skilled maintenance under supervision at CAL ORGANIC. The role runs a DAY shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and requires experience with industrial electrical equipment, hand and power tools, and GMP/safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Industrial/electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools (drills, saws, grinders).
• Basic knowledge of bearings, sprockets, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, belting, and rollers.
• General computer knowledge in Outlook and Office.
• Friendly, productive attitude in a high‑intensity environment; supports all Production activities.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends; day and/or night shifts as needed.
• Understand GMPs and safety policies; lockout/tag-out requirements.
• Willing to travel to multiple facilities within the division.
• English communication skills; pre-employment screening required.
