Job summary

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Mechanic Level 1 to perform basic skilled maintenance tasks in our CAL ORGANIC operations. The role supports production, requires 2 years of industrial/electrical equipment experience, and demands proficiency with hand/power tools and safety/GMP compliance.

You must be able to work day or night shifts, overtime, and travel between division facilities; strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in industrial/electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Familiar with bearings, sprockets, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, belting and rollers.
• Proficient with MS Office and Outlook.
• Able to work overtime and weekends; flexible shifts.
• Willing to travel within division facilities.
• English communication in writing and speaking.
• Pre-employment screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic skilled maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Support production activities as required in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to GMPs and safety policies during maintenance work.
