Tarrant County is seeking a senior mechanic responsible for advanced maintenance and repair of gasoline, propane, and diesel engines, as well as heavy-duty construction equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with at least three years of mechanic experience, preferably with heavy trucks. The role involves supervising other mechanics and performing diagnostic testing, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
Perform advanced mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance on gasoline, propane, and diesel-powered engines, as well as heavy-duty off-road construction equipment. As a senior mechanic, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trucks and heavy off-road equipment.
