Job summary

BayCare is seeking a dedicated Service Technician for Hospital Maintenance at Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, FL. The role runs 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a focus on preventive and demand maintenance of facility systems.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of five years as a service-related technician, plus preferred hospital maintenance or high-rise utilities experience and a Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License. A valid Florida driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a service-related technician.
• Preferred hospital maintenance experience.
• Preferred high-rise mechanical or utilities systems experience.
• Preferred Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory codes.
• Maintains facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various shifts and weekends to meet hospital needs.
• May require travel to perform maintenance at other BCHS facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Licenses

Experience

• Required:5 years as a Service-Related Technician
