Job Details

Makes periodic inspections of and maintains all equipment associated with supplying safety lighting, plumbing, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, control systems, and other related systems.

Job Description

1. Maintain and repair distribution systems involving vacuum, medical air, medical gas systems, and air compressors.
2. Maintain and repair pneumatic equipment located in engine rooms, such as hot water converters, thermostats, induction units, sump pumps, and all related piping.
3. Perform minor electrical work, such as disconnecting leads on motors, resetting breakers, and replacing lights.
4. Change air filters in large air handling equipment, along with cleaning and painting mechanical areas.
5. Perform minor plumbing repairs, including fixing valves, washers, O-rings, clearing blockages, stopping leaks, condenser cleaning on chillers, and maintenance of water towers and air handling unit coils.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; Technical School preferred.
