ESFM, a division of Compass Group USA, seeks a full-time Mechanic I for Clark, NJ 07066. You will operate and maintain HVAC and boiler systems, read meters, and perform repairs as needed to keep equipment running reliably.

Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination required.
• Willing to train and develop repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains equipment including HVAC systems, high-pressure boilers, generators and steam equipment.
• Reads and records information from meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.
• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle.
• Inspects and replaces worn or defective parts and tests machine operation after repair.
• Maintains equipment inventory and ships/receives machines and components.
• Sets up and uses mechanical tools for repair work.
• Supports a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
