Position: Mechanic Helper
Travel: report to York PA Field Service Center
Pay Range: $18 – 20 per hour; Based on experience
We are currently seeking a Shop Helper to join our Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. team. Reporting to the Shop Foreman under the Equipment Group, the Mechanic Helper is responsible for assisting the shop and field mechanics with running the shop efficiently and repairs to include but not limited to running for parts, preparing tools needed and performing minor repairs. This position works along with the entire Equipment Team to support the completion of assigned equipment repair and construction projects and helps ensure all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines.
This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.
This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
