Cleveland Brothers Construction Equipment Shop Technician

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Construction Equipment Shop Technician.

Position Summary:

Cleveland Brothers Caterpillar is seeking highly skilled Diesel Technicians for shop positions working on Diesel engines, construction equipment, and supporting machinery. The focus of this role is to provide Diesel Engine and mechanical repairs for customers in the mining, construction, and paving industries.

We will provide necessary training and specialty tools to help you succeed as a technician with the largest equipment company in Pennsylvania.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair equipment independently and successfully.
• Overhaul engines and major components.
• Operate and maintain various earthmoving and construction equipment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring their satisfaction.

Essential skills include knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, and good computer skills. Candidates should have relevant experience and good human relations skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, and potential hazards.
• Physical stamina and coordination for tasks like sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, and reaching.
• Work overtime as needed.

Skills / Qualifications:

Experience from technical schools, military, or relevant job experience is acceptable.
