Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a motivated Mechanic for Dock and Door Field Service in Troy, OH. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair dock and door equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support service van operations.

Preferred candidates have welding experience, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and good communication skills to assist customers. A valid driver\'s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Valid driver\'s license with good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Welding experience and mechanical/electrical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.

We are seeking knowledgeable customer focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.

• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.

• Welding.

• Maintain a service van and its inventory.

• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school graduate preferred.

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Welding experience.

• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.

• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand.
