Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable customer-focused technicians to join our field service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain dock and door equipment for customers, often traveling to sites across the Dayton area.

Ideal candidates have auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technician experience, a valid license, and strong communication skills. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with good driving record and ability to operate lift trucks.
Extensive travel (over 20%).
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Welding experience.

Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair dock and door equipment.
Perform planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
Welding.
Maintain a service van and its inventory.
Process paperwork upon completion of each job.

Position Overview

We are seeking knowledgeable customer focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team.

Job Duties

Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repairdock and door equipment
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment
Welding
Maintain a service van and its inventory
Process paperwork upon completion of each job

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
Extensive travel (over 20%)
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Welding experience
Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills

Preferred Qualifications

Technical school graduate preferred
