Job Description: As a Construction Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of various types of heavy machinery including skid steers, excavators, backhoes, and other compact and full-sized construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on skid steers, excavators, and related machinery. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Conduct repairs in the shop or on job sites as needed. Maintain detailed service records and documentation. Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed safely and comply with company and industry standards. Work closely with project managers and equipment operators to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic working on construction equipment (2+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment. Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus). Own basic tools; specialty tools provided as needed. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Benefits:
