GCC is seeking a safety-focused Mechanic C to perform maintenance on cement plant and quarry equipment to keep operations reliable. You will diagnose mechanical issues, replace components, and perform alignments using precision tools.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three years cement plant or heavy industry maintenance experience.
• Experience with bearing replacements, motor replacements, motor alignments, equipment rebuilds, preventive maintenance, compressor experience, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, elevators, gearboxes, and various pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant and quarry equipment to support safe, reliable operations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems, replace and install equipment components, perform alignments and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment; assist with new equipment installations.
• Read mechanical drawings and specifications; use precision measuring tools; ensure work complies with safety standards.
