Job summary

JC Pallet is seeking a Mechanic Assistant for our Barhamsville, VA facility. You will assist mechanics with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, and perform routine preventive maintenance including lubrication and inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting mechanics with diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Comfort with using a range of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and work areas on site.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and document work orders.
• Support inventory management and general facility maintenance tasks.
