Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment repair.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist an experienced mechanic with repair and maintenance of mining equipment, including gearboxes, sprockets, and hydraulic components.
• Clean parts, perform teardowns, and prepare components for inspection and assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain basic work logs and support shop organization and safety initiatives.
• Operate forklifts and overhead lifting equipment as needed to move materials and equipment.
