Job summary

The City of Amarillo is seeking a Mechanic Apprentice to support lubrication, fuel and flat repair work on city vehicles and heavy equipment. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with after-hours on a rotating basis and weather-related duties.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of auto-mechanics experience; Texas Driver License; ability to obtain a state inspection license. Tool list supplied by applicant.
