Amrize is seeking a skilled Mechanic - Mechanical Maintenance to support our Franklin, IN site. The role focuses on maintaining plant machinery and equipment, reducing delays and downtime through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a background in manufacturing/maintenance. A strong commitment to safety, PPE usage, and teamwork is essential for success at Amrize.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The maintenance mechanic works with various departments throughout the manufacturing environment to maintain, plan, and provide mechanical equipment maintenance to reduce delays, costs, and breakdowns.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Responsible for adherence to all company policies, including, but not limited to and the use of personal protective equipment, other health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Responsible for maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Assists others with the necessary techniques and knowledge of trade.
• Maintains all tools and work areas in an orderly fashion.
• Interprets mechanical prints, drawings and technical data to conduct maintenance of machinery.
• Assists engineering and production departments in the development and execution of ideas to improve products, machinery and methods.
• Responsible for timely communicating and coordinating plant machinery needs and requirements throughout supervisory personnel.
• Provides input on preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Assist electricians and engineers on routine tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
