TrueSense Marketing’s Bloomsburg facility processes millions of mail pieces weekly using high-speed bindery and mailing equipment. We’re seeking a Mechanic I—a skilled troubleshooter and equipment technician who can maintain and repair machinery with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on bindery equipment such as MBO/Baum folders, Bowe/Spedo cutters, and label-aire machines.
• Maintenance & Overhaul: Replace and recalibrate parts like belts, gears, and sensors to ensure continuous and reliable equipment operation.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance including lubrication, alignments, and system checks to maximize uptime and prevent failures.
• Diagnostics: Use manual and computerized tools (e.g., multimeters, PLC interfaces) to identify faults and optimize performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with machine operators to understand and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of mechanical and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills.
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities and managing inventory; experience with PLC or automation systems is a plus.
• Physical capability to lift 25–50 lbs, work in various positions (standing, crouching), and work seasonal Saturday shifts (mid-August to November).
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
