Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Senior Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The role requires performing routine maintenance, using diagnostic tools, and updating service records.

You will work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, experience with engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, and holds a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation.

  • Maintain detailed service records including parts, labor, and customer information.
  • Stay updated with automotive technology through ongoing training.
