Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking a mechanic to ensure that all equipment and vehicles are ready and working through repairs and maintenance, coordinating with Managers, and interpreting inspection reports. This role requires hands-on problem solving and safety-conscious work in the shop and yard.

You will train field staff, manage parts and paperwork, and maintain a clean, organized shop environment while contributing to a thriving, service-driven team in Norwalk, CT.

Qualifications

• Two-stroke engine repair knowledge.
• Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining aerial lifts (bucket) trucks.
• Experience with spray equipment, tanks and pumps.
• Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals and diagnostic charts for learning and troubleshooting and analyze repair of a mechanical or electrical nature.
• Valid Driver’s license required, CDL preferred.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Pay is $28-$38/hr and includes a $2,500.00 sign on bonus based on experience.
