Job summary

Black River Contracting is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, trucks, and support machinery. You will diagnose complex hydraulic, diesel, electrical, and mechanical systems at shop or on-site locations.

This role requires reading service manuals and wiring diagrams, welding and fabrication skills, and a commitment to keeping equipment running year-round.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel and heavy equipment repair experience.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics and electrical diagnostics.
• Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
• CDL license preferred.
