Job Summary

Under direct supervision of the Lead Mechanic, responsible for maintenance of Cummins Insite, Catapillar ET and Cranes, including engine diagnostic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform required repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Check mechanical equipment to diagnose problems, adjusting functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary or determine other actionable steps to resolve issues.
• Clean, lubricate or adjust parts of equipment or machinery.
• Travel to the field as necessary to conduct repair work.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Follow all operational policies, procedures and standards.
• Drive company vehicles safely while observing company and government regulations.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Working Conditions

• Work performed in all weather conditions.
• Work with protective equipment, including H2S respirator where required.
• Potential hazards include working near or with heavy tools and moving machinery.
• Potential exposure to loud noises, airborne toxins, solvents, flammable atmospheres and industrial chemicals.

Requirements
