Transdev is hiring for experienced Automotive and Diesel Mechanics to service Ford cutaways and transit buses in the Twin Cities area. The role features a paperless shop using iPad tablets, and a path for career advancement nationwide.

Base wages start at $35.00 to $50.00 per hour, with $2/hr shift differentials for second shift and weekends, plus ASE and master status bonuses. Medical, vision, dental, 401k, paid holidays, and boots/safety glasses allowances are included.

Competenze

• Valid driver’s license required; company provides training to help obtain CDL.
• 2+ years automotive or diesel repair experience or education/experience mix.
• Must have an appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
• ASE certifications preferred; willing to participate in company ASE program.
• Subject to DOT drug testing per 49 CFR Part 40.

Transdev is hiring for a variety of Automotive and Diesel Mechanics positions in the Twin Cities Metro Area!

Transdev is seeking multiple experienced A or B technicians to perform maintenance on a variety of vehicles including Ford cutaways and transit buses.

We utilize a paperless shop with iPad tablet technology that makes filling out work orders much easier and less time consuming.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Base starting hourly wages from $35.00 – $50.00/hr based on experience & qualifications (not flat rate)

• Shift differentials $2/hr. for second shift, $2/hr. for weekend hours

• ASE incentive program with $.25/hr. for each primary automotive certification and $.15/hr. for each secondary transit certification

• Additional $1000 annual bonus for maintaining ASE triple master status

• Additional $1000 annual bonus for maintaining ASE quad master status

• Company-paid ASE testing and training materials

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to maintain a safe and reliable fleet

• Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, engine performance, suspensions, drive trains, transmission, and other repairs

• Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.

Technician Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license required. We provide company paid training to help you obtain your CDL!

• 2+ years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.

• Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.

• ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program

• Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
