Job summary

Southway Crane & Rigging, Inc. in Ringgold, GA is seeking a full-time Crane/Truck Technician Mechanic to maintain and repair cranes, forklifts, and related equipment. You will perform inspections, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

The role requires at least 3 years of mobile crane mechanic experience, the ability to read manuals and drawings, and a valid driver’s license. TWIC and ability to work evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years experience as a mobile crane mechanic/technician.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, and LICCON systems.
• Ability to read operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings.
• Experience testing mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic products after repair.
• Independent work ability with no direct supervision required.
• Observes safety requirements and maintains equipment as per regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• TWIC card or ability to acquire one.
• Ability to interpret schematics, prioritize and organize work.

Responsibilities
