Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform service, maintenance, and minor repairs on fusion equipment and related machinery.

You will document activities, apply safety decals, and support senior staff on projects, while ensuring safety and reliability in a warehouse environment. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent and experience in hydraulics, diesel, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in the mechanical field preferred.
• Hydraulic, diesel, electrical, pneumatic experience.
• Prior experience with fusion machines is a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mantains accurate records of basic maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
• Applies and maintains decals, safety warnings, and company ID stickers as needed.
• Completes work orders under supervision for internal and external repairs.
• Assists with minor repairs of mechanical equipment.
• Supports maintenance of company vehicles.
• Checks and refuels equipment as directed.
• Assists senior mechanics with complex repair and maintenance projects.
• Reports safety violations to supervisor.

Duties include inspecting and repairing mechanical components, documenting maintenance activities, applying safety labels, and completing work orders under supervision.
