Mechanic Job Duties:
  • Technicians report to the Production Supervisor for the performance and quality completion of all assigned tasks. Additional duties may include:
  • Performs maintenance duties or operates equipment for which they have been properly trained and qualified.
  • Inspects and tests all applicable parts using calibrated tools, including calipers, micrometers, and spring testers, in accordance with all applicable technical data, and maintenance manuals.
  • Cleans all applicable parts using a solvent and media blast process; applies protective coatings using dry and chemical lubrication methods.
  • Becomes familiar with the contents of the ASI RSQC Manual, utilizing the Manufacturer's Technical Data and ASI internal Regulations as required
  • Performs safe maintenance practices; reports any unsafe conditions within the facility.
  • Performs other duties assigned.

Position Requirements:

All applicants must possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent, as well as be able to read, write, and speak the English. Must have mechanical aptitude as well as attention to detail. Applicants must pass a nine- panel pre-employment drug screen and alcohol breath test. ASI is a drug free workplace with a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy. Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted. Prior Military applicants are always welcome.

Salary: Starting wage for this position is based on experience and qualifications. Weekly pay periods.
