The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanic experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work with trucks, trailers, and outdoor power equipment.

Description

The Fleet and Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of company vehicles, trailers, and landscape equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.This hands-on role supports daily field operations by minimizing downtime, maintaining safety compliance, and extending the life of company assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles, trailers, and landscape equipment, including trucks, vans, mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, skid steers, compact loaders, and small engines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance services to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Identify safety concerns, perform corrective actions, and ensure all vehicles and equipment are safe and effective.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Manage parts, tools, fluids, and inventory, including tracking usage and recommending purchases.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide field support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with COO and field teams regarding equipment status, repair, timelines, and preventative maintenance planning.
• Assist with developing and improving maintenance procedures, safety programs, and equipment management systems.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements
