Job summary

G3 Enterprises is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate, adjust, repair, lubricate and perform preventive maintenance on agricultural trailers under direct supervision. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to PM schedules in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with various tools and shop equipment, read specifications, and complete paperwork documenting PMs and production. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 60 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of mechanical experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Required to work overtime as necessary.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and diving using whole numbers.
• Required to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Carefully handles various pieces of equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Assesses machinery during operation and makes repairs as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance according to established PM schedules.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
• Under Journeyman supervision, utilizes shop equipment to complete repairs as needed (cutters, welders, milling machine, grinders, and cutting equipment).
• Maintains appropriate inventory levels (parts and supplies).
• Initiates recommendations for the purchase of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Reads and understands product specifications and drawings, and to follow Preventive Maintenance Procedures.
• Follows established policies and procedures, including safety procedures.
• Utilizes hand tools (both manual and powered) to perform machine adjustments and repairs.
• Completes routine “housekeeping” duties throughout the shift and at other times as assigned.
• Completes required paperwork to document PM’s, and daily production accomplishments.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.

Compensation

Hiring Hourly Rate: $23.08 - $27.12
