Job summary

Lime is seeking Mechanics to maintain our fleet of shared vehicles in Minneapolis. You’ll perform maintenance, from basic tasks to complex electronic part replacements, and ensure safe operation of all fleet components.

Battery management and accurate quality checks are key, with inventory support and tire maintenance as needed. The role requires physical readiness, reliability, and strong teamwork to maximize fleet availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a similar industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg frequently.
• Knowledge of cell phone applications; iOS experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
• Strong problem-solving skills and quick repair abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and a safety-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational compliance of fleet and complete quality checks for deployment.
• Perform repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
• Follow safety procedures to keep Lime riders safe.
• Manage battery operations including inspection and rotation.
• Document completed quality checks for vehicles and parts.
• Support inventory management and organize tools, parts, and vehicles.
• Assist with tire maintenance as needed.
• Maintain safety and hygiene standards in the warehouse.
• Maximize fleet operability by completing tasks efficiently.
• Operate pallet jack or push cart and perform other related duties.

We are looking for Mechanics to maintain our fleet of shared vehicles. This role is ideal for mechanically-inclined operations professionals that want to broaden and build their career experiences. Teamwork is at the heart of our operation, as mechanics work together to identify critical parts of our product lines that can be improved and ensure the safe working condition of our fleet.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure operational compliance of fleet and complete quality checks for deployment

• Perform repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement

• Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles

• Manage battery operations such as inspection, rotation, check in/out, and more

• Ensure accurate documentation of completed quality checks for vehicles and parts

• Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles

• May assist with any level of tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assembly

• Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse

• Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned

• Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart on a frequent basis

• Additional job related tasks as assigned

About you:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
