Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic trailers. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of diesel maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely under pressure.

This full-time hourly position offers competitive pay and an excellent benefits package, including working flexible shifts and the possibility of overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in diesel maintenance.
• Experience in hydraulic trailer maintenance is preferred.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience in hydraulic trailer maintenance is preferred
• Must work safely in a fast-paced environment – many times under pressure
• Experience in diesel, gasoline and propane engines
• Proven ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Must have appropriate ASE certifications
• Creative thinking skills to make continuous improvements
• Willing to work day and night shifts, weekends and holidays
• Basic rigging knowledge and experience in the heavy construction business is helpful
• Must pass drug test, fit for duty test and background check
