Job summary

Hammond Lumber Company in Belgrade, Maine is seeking a full-time Mechanic to service delivery vehicles, forklifts, and company cars. The role may require travel to other store locations and frequent use of material handling equipment, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years of mechanic experience on various fuels, at least 1 year welding/hydraulics, and a valid driver0s license. USDOT testing compliance is required for final applicants.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a mechanic on gasoline, propane, and diesel vehicles.
• 1 year of welding and hydraulics experience.
• Final applicant must comply with USDOT testing requirements.
• A clean and valid driver's license preferred.
