Job summary

Krise Transportation is hiring a dedicated Mechanic to keep school buses and vans in safe operating condition. You will work with a team that values reliability and safety for our drivers, students, and communities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs. Must have a CDL with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements, a clean driving and criminal history, and be willing to undergo drug testing. Training for PA inspections may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have your own basic hand tools.
• Must have and maintain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Satisfactory driving history based on state DMV records; satisfactory criminal and child abuse history checks.
• Able to pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug/alcohol testing.
• Must be willing to obtain PA Inspection License (Class 7) if not current.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school buses and vans to ensure safe operating condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and required repairs.
• Assist with inspections and drive routes when needed.
• Collaborate with drivers and the team to keep vehicles in top shape.
