Krise Transportation is hiring a School Bus Diesel Mechanic at our McKeesport, PA location. You will be responsible for maintaining school buses and vans, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before daily routes.

The role offers a structured day shift with family‑oriented culture, tool allowances, and benefits. A CDL with endorsements is required or obtainable through the company; training is available.

How Do I Start? What is Required?

• Fill out the online application and a Company representative will call you to get the process started!
• Must have your own basic hand tools (Company provides major equipment such as diagnostic scan tools)
• You must have or be willing to get a Class 7 PA Inspection License
• You must have (or we will provide you free training to get):
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Must have and maintain the following to be able to drive a school van or bus:
  • A satisfactory driving history based on review of state motor vehicle records
  • A satisfactory criminal history and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • Passing an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical w/ tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
  • Participate in and pass pre‑employment and on‑going random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment.
