Your responsibilities include:* Operate and maintain can lines while performing and documenting quality checks and measurements* Take ownership of product quality and line efficiency, seeking supervisory support only for unusual quality or operating issues* Diagnose mechanical and quality-related problems, identify required repairs, and return equipment to service with minimal downtime* Move pallets, tooling, barrels, boxes, and cartons as needed to support production* Record product and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area* Follow all safety regulations and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions* Collaborate with supervisors and team members on improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost savings## **What We Need From You**### **Job Requirements*** Proven experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings* Proficiency using measuring hand tools to set up and maintain can line machinery* Strong critical thinking and logical problem‐solving ability* Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment* Basic computer skills* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision* Comfortable working at heights, including ladders and elevated platforms### **Experience & Education*** High school diploma or equivalent* Journeyman Mechanic* 2 plus years of industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment## **Physical Requirements*** Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for long periods—up to 12‐hour shifts while operating machinery* Adequate upper‐body strength to repeatedly pull or push hand tools for equipment repair and adjustments* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds* Ability to remain in constant motion***LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER***The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.All job requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
