Job summary

Scott Electric in Greensburg, PA is seeking a skilled Mechanic to service and repair fleet vehicles at our Greensburg location. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and carry out repairs including oil, tires, brakes, and lighting components. Travel to other branches may be required.

Must have own tools, pass the DOT Physical, and maintain a clean driving record. The role demands physical work, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team

South Main Trucking Co. currently has an opening at ourGreensburgbranch for aMechanic. Monday-Friday 12:00 PM-8:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Servicing and repairing vehicles

Requirements:

• Ability to perform repair and replacement work included but not limited to oil, tires, brakes, lamps and various other parts

• Work overtime as required
• Meet DOT regulatory requirements for operating company or related vehicles
• Familiar with all DOT regulations and truck operations
• Sign all documentation to meet DOT regulations and company requirements

Preferred:

• Forklift mechanical knowledge
• Electrical knowledge
• Basic computer skills
• Graduate of a technical school, military school or relevant working experience

Must submit to a background check and drug testing
