Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a mechanic with equipment maintenance.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and local travel ability.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Safety-focused, precise, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in confined environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshooting, and repair of concrete cutting, coring, sawing, and drilling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic, diesel, gas, and electrical-powered equipment/vehicles.
• Knowledge of basic electrical applications, hydraulics, small gas engines, diesel engines, and use of basic hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and accurate maintenance record, repairs log, and parts inventory.
• Bring problems to the attention of the Branch Manager, Operations Manager, and Safety Director.
• Lifting/move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Safely inspect and address PPE as required by OSHA, ANSI, and company policy.
