Hiring Diesel Mechanic / Ground Support Equipment Technician

Shifts Available :

• Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday
• 1st Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM
• 2nd Shift : 2 : 00 PM – 10 : 30 PM
• 3rd Shift : 10 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM
• Note : Must be available to work holidays
• Pay Range : $31–$35 / hour (based on experience)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diesel Mechanic / Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician to join our team at Denver International Airport. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of diesel engines and a variety of ground support equipment. Your work will play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and GSE.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
• Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Solid understanding of diesel engines and ground support equipment.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (must provide own tools).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in diesel mechanics or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a diesel or GSE mechanic.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00 / hr.
