Position Summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time General Mechanic to support fleet at two different locations in Houston, TX & Porter, TX. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Employee must be able to provide their own set of basic mechanic's tools. Contract type: full-time. Locations: Houston, TX & Porter, TX.

Required Experience

10 years of repair and maintenance experience of a variety of automotive and mechanical equipment.

Preferred Experience

General Mechanic
Vocational training and/or technical certificate or equivalent

Clean Driving Record and Background

Clean driving record is essential. Must pass criminal background check.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
Valid driver's license
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
Carry out simple arithmetic functions
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
