Position Summary

As the mechanic at Salsbery you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of landscape and grounds maintenance equipment (gas and diesel) including lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, small engines, trucks, and other vehicles. This role ensures that all equipment is in optimal working condition to support daily operations of the landscape company, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, tune-ups, and maintenance on all landscape equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs on equipment, small engines, trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
• Ensure all repairs meet company safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provide on-site support to teams when equipment breaks down in the field.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification or training in small engine or mechanical systems preferred.

• Valid drivers license and ability to drive company vehicles.

• Work may involves frequent standing, bending, and working in various outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends, as needed.
