Job summary

Job description

Keep our excavators, dozers, trucks and support equipment running in our Brownsburg shop and in the field.

Mechanics keep the fleet ready. You'll diagnose and repair heavy equipment and trucks, handle preventive maintenance, and make field calls when a machine goes down on site.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and undercarriage systems
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and trucks
• Make field repairs with the service truck when needed
• Track parts, fluids and repair records
• Keep the shop clean, organized and safe

• Three or more years repairing heavy equipment or diesel trucks
• Own tools and a valid driver's license; CDL a plus for the service truck
• Welding and fabrication skills a plus
• Able to lift 50 lb and work in shop and outdoor conditions
