Job summary

Costabile Construction is seeking a Mechanic to diagnose, service and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on our fleet of gas and diesel vehicles and heavy equipment. Work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays and overtime.

You will perform routine maintenance and inspections, communicate with lead supervisors during repairs, and ensure parts are approved for each job. Must have your own tools and the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Inspection certification is not required but can be obtained later.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on gas and diesel units.
• Communicate with lead supervisors during repairs and obtain approvals for parts.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely repairs and quality workmanship.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies during all service activities.

Job description

We are looking for a Mechanic with knowledge to assist our shop in providing timely, quality & cost effective repairs, as well as maintenance for our fleet of (gasoline and diesel) vehicles, heavy trucks, & equipment. You must have the ability to work Monday-Friday, some Saturdays & overtime as needed.

Working as a Mechanic, you will diagnose, service & repair electrical, hydraulic & mechanical systems on a variety of gas & diesel powered units.

Job Description

• Diagnose, maintain & repair various brands of equipment & vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance & inspections on various brands of equipment & vehicles.
• Perform electrical/hydraulic system diagnostics & repairs.
• Communicate with your lead supervisors during the repair.
• Work with your lead supervisor for approval needs & parts for each equipment.

Required
