Job summary

Lincoln Electric's Mechanical Engineering Internship Program offers hands-on experience designing, building, and testing robotic work cells and automation systems at our Shelby Township facility. Qualifications

• Pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Interest in a manufacturing environment and robotics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Familiarity with OSHA, SDS, and ANSI safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom manufacturing equipment tailored to specific customer requirements.
• Design and implement robotic systems for customer applications with a focus on automation.
• Engineer robotic solutions to optimize internal manufacturing processes.
• Conduct engineering analysis on mechanical designs to validate performance, identify improvements.
