Job summary

QDSSJobsOhio seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer specialized in Aircraft Engine Design to join our aerospace team in Cincinnati. You will investigate root causes of field failures, proposing design improvements for engine components, and collaborate with aerodynamics, structures, and manufacturing to ensure integration and certification.

The role requires a BS Mechanical Engineering, 1–3 years in aerospace design, and US citizenship with willingness to obtain a clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (BSME required).
1–3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in aerospace or aviation industries.
U.S. citizens and willingness to obtain/hold a clearance.

Responsibilities

Investigate and determine root causes for field failures of aircraft engine components and propose design improvements.
Collaborate with aerodynamics, structural analysis, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of components into engine design.
Conduct design reviews and create detailed engineering documentation to support development and certification.
