Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Meat Wrapper to wrap, box and label fresh cut meat items for distribution in a refrigerated environment. The role includes picking and packing per customer specifications, scanning data, transporting products, and maintaining sanitation of all production areas.

The position requires handling of heavy items, overtime may be required, and work occurs in a cold environment with temperatures from 35F to -10F. Benefits include health and retirement plans.

The Meat Wrapper wraps, boxes and labels fresh cut meat items for distribution. Cleans all production rooms and equipment to meet SSOP and HACCP requirementsPick and pack orders per customer specification Scan product as directed to capture required data Transport Product and package accordingly utilizing prescribed equipment Sort, organize, repack, palletize, track, weight and break down various products to assist production as needed. Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment. Perform various facility sanitation duties as required. Operate assigned production equipment utilized for further processing Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by management.
